Crediting course for Saving and Credit Associations

Crediting course for Saving and Credit Associations consists of two separate modules and the general objective of the developed course is to provide participants with necessary abilities for the effective work in crediting and loan management performed by Rural Finance Corporation. At the end of this course all the participants should:
understand in what way the business operations may influence its financial position;
understand the concept of the accounting balance sheet, report on financial results, report on funds' source and their use and cash flow projections; they will also be able to:

• prepare these documents based on the provided financial data;
• calculate and interpret financial indicators;
• apply into practice the training.

Training methods include: short lectures; discussions, exercises; "buzzy " group, games. The training sessions vary in time but do not exceed 1,5 hr. In one session may be discussed several topics and modules. Each module has its hand outs.
The manual was developed: with the support of the Department for International Development of Great Britain and the company  Landell Mills Management Consultants. The publication of the manual was funded by USAID project  BIZPRO-Moldova.
