Meeting with Latvian Delegation
BIZPRO will host a meeting with a representative delegation of the Republic of Latvia as a follow up of the study visits organized by BIZPRO/Moldova Project to Latvia.
BIZPRO Policy and Regulatory Reform Department staff and members of the Latvian delegation will attend. The parties will discuss plans for common future activities.
Earlier in June a Moldovan delegation visited Latvia on a study-tour. The main focus of the study visit was to gain more knowledge about the Latvian experience in implementing regulatory reform in a new member of the European Union.
The visit took place from June 12 – 19, 2005 and included meetings with governmental bodies at the national and local level, enterprises, one-stop-shops, industrial parks, free economic zones, located in Riga, Liepaja, Ventspils, Kuldiga and Ozolneiki.
