June 26, 2006The draft Law on basic principles and mechanisms regulating entrepreneurial activity was approved in the first reading by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova
On Thursday, June 22, 2006, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova endorsed in the first reading the Draft Law of Republic of Moldova on basic principles and mechanisms regulating entrepreneurial activity.
In the draft law presentation, Valeriu Lazar, the Minister of Economy and Trade, stressed that the implementation of the new law will adjust the regulatory framework with the best international practices and the European Union requirements and will contribute to a more transparent and predictable governance.
The draft was adopted with 62 votes “pro” and 9 “against”. The second reading with possible amendments from deputies is expected by mid-July before parliamentary summer recess.
